The Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) resin solution traveling with such a speed will shoot through a mask, around the glasses, through the clothing. Even a small portion is enough to provide the contamination. The pepper solution will embed inside skin pores. Eyes and nasal passages will shut immediately, skin will experience a painful burning sensation and an immediate bout of uncontrollable couching, choking and gasping for air will drop anyone. The attacker will be reduced to all but life support breathing. Effects last up to 45 minutes with no permanent damage.

Purchased 3 for my Daughter
I purchased 3 of the Kimber Pepperblaster II’s. My daughter was able to hit the target with both shots on her first try at 12 feet. Both charges of the pepper spray hit the cardboard target with authority, a very noticeable loud smack sound. She had zero issues with displacing the built in safety, and she said all she had to do was point her hand at the target. She thought it to be very easy to manipulate. I highly recommend that you buy at least two, so that you can actually practice at least once. For what it is worth, my daughter is 16, and has average hand size.
